EITI Trained Students Shine at 27th Annual International Lineman's Rodeo
November 2010 — As you may or may not know, the International Lineman Rodeo is an annual event where linemen from around the world compete in events that challenge the tasks and skills of the best of the best in the lineman world.
This year, two crews of PLTs (Power Line Technicians) and Apprentices from IBEW #258 (and EITI trained) were lucky enough to hit the road to Kansas to show off their skills. We are happy to announce they had their best performance yet with apprentice Rob Poirier finishing in first place and the top PLT team placing 13th, both in the municipal division. Hats off and round of applause gentlemen!
